Daffodil Day - Gore Area - 2026

We are raising funds for people affected by cancer. 

Funds raised will stay in our area and be used to support those affected by cancer - travel to out-of-town appointments or accommodation for treatment, and visits from our local Cancer Navigator who is dedicated to supporting each person through their journey. 

We have had amazing support from some local businesses to raise funds in our auction - we appreciate your bids! There are some awesome items up for auction.

The Daffodil Day Team of volunteers in Gore have painted the town yellow for many years with the goal to raise money to support those in our area that are affected by cancer.

Each year on the last Friday of August the streets of Gore are alive with volunteers out selling daffodils on the street.

Many other orgaisations hold events to help raise money for this amazing charity.

Daffodil Day raises money for ALL types of cancer.

All funds raised in our area stay in our area.

The Daffodil is a symbol of hope for people affected by cancer and is the iconic flower of Daffodil Day. It represents new beginnings and the return of spring, offering a sense of optimism after the darkness of winter.
