2017 CCC Auction

This is an auction for the 2017 Craven Cancer Classic golf tournament in New Bern NC. It is held in memory of Scott Davenport, John Aylward and Brian Fisher. All three were brave warriors in their fight against cancer and we want to keep their generous spirits alive. We have been blessed with some amazing sponsors and this year we will be auctioning off a Bosch 500 Series Stainless Steel Dishwasher. All of the proceeds go to the Carolina East Foundation to help cancer patients and their families in the Craven County area.

The Craven Cancer Classic was first held in 2010 and is in memory of Scott Davenport, Brian Fisher & John Aylward who all valiantly fought this devastating disease right up until the end. Each of these men showed great courage in their battles and were big proponents of helping others by sharing their stories. Their generosity to the New Bern community can still be felt today.

The CCC has raised more than $150,000 to support families who are experiencing the financial burdens that come along with this disease. The CarolinaEast Foundation has been a big sponsor of this event and also manages the funds raised to make sure they stay right here in our community.

The event typically draws nearly 100 people and is growing every year. The event is held at New Bern Golf & CC which is a venue that is near and dear to these men and their families. The club generously hosts our group and ensures we have a very successful event each year.
