About Our Auction

Although we had really hoped to be back in person this year for our Annual Crab Feed Fundraiser, it unfortunately is not going to happen due to ongoing concerns about large groups gathering together. The continued challenges this year have been tough and we are hoping to add a little excitement and online competition to the end of 2021 with a Crab Feed Silent Auction! We have some fabulous baskets, adventures and opportunities to connect with each other in 2022.

As the holidays approach, these can be easy gifts that require no shopping and can be dropped off at your doorstep!

Although we have only been able to have one of our normal fundraising events this year, our small, but mighty church continues to support the following community programs: Blue Star Moms, River City Food Bank, Wind Center for Homeless Youth, St John's program for Real Change, and the Navajo Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ. Your participation in this Silent Auction will support us in continuing monthly meals at St John's, sponsoring a classroom at NELM (Rock Point) for holiday gifts & cheer, returning to Rock Point in 2022 to provide vaccines for the livestock, supporting the Run to Feed the Hungry in 2022 with apple slices, music & restrooms, providing items to ship to individuals serving their county in other places around the world, and providing survival backpacks, gift cards and a Holiday meal for homeless youth in Sacramento.

Please join us for a little competitive bidding and of course, some fun!!

We will be hoping for an in-person Crab Feed in 2022!!!

About Lutheran Church of the Cross

We are a small but mighty Lutheran Church in East Sacramento that is welcoming to anyone who walks in our doors. We have recently called a new Pastor - Pastor Dianne Wendt and we all are excited about her new Ministry to our Congregation! We are a pet-friendly congregation and encourage members and visitors to bring their furry friends to church.

We embrace our mission to help others in our community who may be struggling with homelessness, mental illness, addiction or other issues that impact their daily functioning. Our focus is to give back to the community of Sacramento and we support a number of places like St John's Program for Real Change, Wind Center for homeless youth, River City Food Bank, and Blue Star Moms. We also provide ongoing support and a vaccine program to the Navajo community in Rock Point, AZ.

We are doing a silent auction online again this year due to the pandemic and the limited ability to hold fundraisers to support the Mission work we do with the above programs.

All of the money raised goes to our Mission work and we so greatly appreciate your support!!
