CONNECTIONS: MOMENTS OF CLARITY 2022

Connections: Moments of Clarity brings together Dayton area artists and residents in memory care facilities to create watercolor paintings that spark connection and moments of clarity for persons living with Alzheimer’s or related dementia, and enable families in our community to find connections and moments of clarity with their loved ones. Local artists met with residents in their facilities for art sessions to create 8” x 8” watercolors. Then, the Dana L. Wiley Gallery curated the residents’ work and paired over 50 of the pieces with 34 local and regional artists who will create an interpretation of their resident’s watercolor, working from the same 8” x 8” format in the medium of their choice.

All Artwork purchased locally will be available in the gallery for pickup the week of May 22nd.
