Connections: Moments of Clarity

Connections: Moments of Clarity brings together Dayton area artists and residents in memory care facilities to create watercolor paintings that spark connection and moments of clarity for persons living with Alzheimer’s or related dementia, and enable families in our community to find connections and moments of clarity with their loved ones.

Local artists met with residents in their facilities for art sessions to create 8” x 8” watercolors. Then, the Dana L. Wiley Gallery curated the residents’ work and paired pieces with Dayton artists who created an interpretation of their resident’s watercolor, working from the same 8” x 8” format in the medium of their choice.
