Collage Annual Gala Silent Auction

Welcome to the IMAS Collage silent auction! We are pleased to present this year's silent auction online and invite you to browse the incredible selection of original artwork, home decor items and more, all donated by our generous museum supporters and patrons. This silent auction supports the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

All funds raised support the art and science education exhibits and programs at the museum, where over 54% of the audience is children 17 and under including over 30,000 children from low-income school districts annually. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Bidding opens on August 20, 2021, at noon (CST) and will remain open through Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 9:00 PM.

Bidders may register through this website directly and place bids electronically. Exact bids and proxy bids are accepted for all online items. Proxy bids are encouraged for that special item you definitely don't want to miss out on, setting your max and allowing the site to up-bid any contenders.

The 2021 Collage Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the McAllen Convention Center from 6:00-11:00 p.m.

This gala features a live auction supporting the International Museum of Art & Science, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in McAllen, Texas.

The live auction will begin following dinner at 9:00 p.m. and will be facilitated by emcee, Tony Forina.

The International Museum of Art & Science is an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute and fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. IMAS is the premier art and science museum of South Texas and contains over 50,000 square feet of exhibit space. The IMAS galleries host a number of revolving art and science exhibits each year. The museum provides a unique opportunity for visitors to participate in hands-on science exhibits and to learn about original works of art while encouraging creativity and innovation. The IMAS permanent collection includes more than 2,000 natural history and geology specimens and 4,500 folk art and textile objects. The 1,500 fine art works in the permanent collection reflect many countries and artistic movements beyond Mexico, dating from the 16th century to the present.
