Co-Opera Christmas Silent Auction

The money raised by this auction will assist with one of Co-Opera's major functions: providing professional developmental opportunities for young, highly talented artists.

Our aim is to make opera accessible and exciting to new and existing audiences by:

* accentuating the fun, humour and drama in opera
* presenting fine singing and fine acting
* performing in cabaret style in the round
* providing professional developmental opportunities for young, highly talented artists
* inviting community music groups [eg choirs] to participate in performances

We perform in unusual indoor or outdoor venues, including banquet rooms of international hotels, wineries, botanic gardens, showgrounds, heritage buildings, shearing sheds and circus Big Tops as well as conventional theatres.

Since 2012, Co-Opera has received no public funding from either State or Commonwealth sources.
