About Our Auction

Chorus America’s President’s Dinner and Auction are going virtual!

The COVID crisis may inhibit our ability to gather in person for this celebratory event, but it will never stop us from coming together in support of Chorus America and the choral field at large. Join us as we Raise Dollars in support of Chorus America’s mission to empower singing ensembles to create vibrant communities and effect meaningful change so choruses throughout North America can continue to Raise Voices.

The proceeds from this auction will enable Chorus America to...

- Design and implement responsive programming that adapts to the needs of the rapidly developing needs of the choral field;

-Raze financial barriers that put undue burdens on program participants by offering scholarships, with a particular focus on addressing diversity, inclusion, equity and access;

- Subsidize membership fees for choruses and individuals that are facing financial hardships due to the economic uncertainty caused by the coronavirus;

- Provide leadership, resources, information, and inspiration to the North American choral field.

Chorus America relies on the generous support of choral music lovers like you to continually meet the needs of the choral field. We ask you to please consider supporting us by bidding on these amazing auction items, or by making a tax-deductible donation towards the 2020 Conference Campaign in support of providing myriad training and professional development opportunities for the choral field. #RaiseDollarsRaiseVoices<.b>

In addition to this auction, join us on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 7pm Eastern for a free Virtual Gala livestream broadcast to YouTube Live: https://youtu.be/Rot1b7mrVeM. This year’s gala will be hosted by Jonathan Miller (Artistic Director & CEO of Sounds Good! Choir), featuring performances by Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, and the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.

We’re also thrilled to announce that we’ll be joined by Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and a number of familiar faces throughout. You won’t want to miss this signature event!

About Chorus America

Founded in 1977, Chorus America is the advocacy, research, and leadership development organization that advances the choral field. Our 2019 Chorus Impact Study: Singing for a Lifetime, shows that choral singing in America is stronger than ever, with more than 54 million—or 17% of— Americans singing in choruses. Chorus America serves and supports the spectrum of professional, volunteer, children/youth, and symphony choruses, and all those who work with them. Through our core services and programs, choruses and chorus leaders are equipped with tools, resources, and information that address a range of issues and strengthen both individual organizations and the field as a whole - impacting communities across North America.
