About Our Auction
You may know that the Fort Wayne ChocolateFest is usually a gala with a full dinner, 3 chocolate dipping stations, live band and a silent auction set in an elegant atmosphere. Due to the Covid-19, the Kiwanis Club of John Chapman Foundation had to make the hard decision to suspend the gala and move the silent auction on-line. Ticket sales and auction proceeds represent 100% of the funds raised to support our funding to underserved charities, projects and programs focused on kids. We expect that proceeds from this year’s auction will not cover the needs identified by our organization.
That said, please bid high and often. There are 2 special auction items that allow you to donate as if you had been attending the gala: The “Wish You Were Here”, and “The Golden Ticket” auction items.
Lastly, the gifts in our auction and financial sponsors have been donated by people and businesses all around NE Indiana who care about our mission. A few represent national companies that also care about kids’ success. We hope you will patronize our donors and thank them for their participation this year, even in the midst of COVID-19 challenges and setbacks.

The Kiwanis International Club Motto is, “Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.” The Kiwanis Club of John Chapman Foundation mirrors the club's objects and motto; and as a 501c3 non-profit, the designation allows the club to be financially efficient in fund raising and fund distribution helping more and more in need in Northeast Indiana. 100% of funds raised through the foundation are distributed to underserved kids’ charities, projects and programs that are evaluated and updated annually through a grant application process.
