Carousel's Fall Fundraising Auction!

As we gear up for our 50th anniversary season in 26-27, we are raising vital funds to support the development of the four new Canadian plays by Vancouver-based playwrights that we just commissioned! These will be signature productions in future seasons - help be part of the birth of incredible new plays for young people! 

Carousel Theatre for Young People (CTYP) provides playful, exceptional and accessible theatrical experiences that inspire, involve and educate the young and young-at-heart. The company was incorporated in 1976 and has been based on Granville Island since 1981 and continues to be British Columbia’s preeminent theatre company that specializes in mainstage programming for young audiences. Each season approximately 40,000 young people and their families benefit from CTYP’s programming.

At CTYP we envision a community that empowers people to be more imaginative, expressive and engaged. We believe that the arts, and specifically theatre, play a vital role in a young person’s development and contribute to a healthy community.
