Fall Season Fundraiser

For twenty years, Caliente Community Chorus has brought the joy of music to our community. We believe in the power of song to connect people, and we are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity to share our mission on a larger stage.

In July 2027, our choir will participate in The Baltics Choral Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Singing Revolution. From 1987-1991, people in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania used the power of song to peacefully reclaim their freedom from Soviet rule. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our singers to perform, learn, and represent the Four Corners region.

However, the cost of traveling is high. To make this trip possible for all our dedicated members, we are raising funds through this auction. A portion of these funds will help cover music cost, travel/transportation, lodging, tour management, and performance and entrance fees. The other part will go to our college scholarship fund!

Our goal is to provide every singer the opportunity to raise funds to be able to attend the trip regardless of financial status.

Thank you for supporting the arts and helping us bring our music to the Baltics!

Caliente strives to foster excellence and unite the human spirit through music. We are a non-auditioned, volunteer ensemble that was created in 2006 and is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the community through musical performances.

Following that objective, Caliente instituted an organizational scholarship with a primary focus on providing monetary awards to students either entering or attending post-secondary educational programs.
