2023 CVA Scholarship Bash Fundriaser

For over 40 years, our small school nestled securely in the western mountains of Maine has been a place where motivated student-athletes come to follow their dreams. CVA has earned more Olympic medals for skiing and snowboarding than some small countries, and has graduated students into the most prestigious colleges and universities. We prepare our students to be responsible, caring citizens who know the value of hard work and commitment. For more than half of our CVA students, none of those experiences would be possible without scholarship support.

By placing a bid or sharing information about this auction, you'll play an important role in helping us meet our ambitious goal of raising $15,000 for scholarship support this year - every bid and every dollar we raise goes directly to helping these kids chase their dream of participating in an Olympics or making their mark on the world.

Carrabassett Valley Academy is a private middle/high school at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine, offering a unique balance of college preparatory academics and competitive ski and snowboard training.

The annual Scholarship Bash is a critical piece of Carrabassett Valley Academy’s fundraising efforts, to raise scholarship money for current and prospective student-athletes.

Each year, we award scholarship funds to over half of student-athletes, who demonstrate financial need and exceptional potential in their athletic discipline and academic performance.

Funds are raised through the sale of in-person raffle ticket sales, an exciting live and online auction, a paddle raise for cash donations, and through our generous event sponsors.

This year's event will be an in-person event on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, at The Bill and Joan Alfond Competition Center.
