The Children's Storefront Silent Auction 2016

The Children’s Storefront is a Toronto success story. Established more than 40 years ago, we are a free community drop-in centre, serving parents, caregivers and children. We have more than 11, 000 visits per year and the numbers keep on growing. We are busier than ever.

The current financial climate has created new financial demands. We remain committed to offering free services to children and caregivers, yet costs continue to exceed revenue. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will go towards continuing to provide quality services to Toronto families.

The Children’s Storefront is a free service that provides support for parents and young children. Since 1975, the Storefront has been the place where children could come and learn how to play together in a child-centered and family friendly environment. Parents, grandparents and caregivers share personal experiences in a supportive environment. Adults and children are served together in the same program. The absence of structured programming at the Storefront means that everyone is welcome at any time. Programming of this nature fosters a strong sense of community and supports families adapting to the needs of their young children.
