About Our Auction

Community Partnership for Youth (CPY) supports students all year long through its prevention and enrichment programs, but in the summer, the energy and impact reach a whole new level.

For six weeks, CPY offers a full-day summer experience that blends academic support, social-emotional learning, creative exploration, and pure summer fun. While their parents are at work, students are in a safe space where they can grow, explore, and just be kids.

Each morning, students join small groups to read, write thank-you letters, and engage in structured play that builds both literacy and life skills. Afternoons come alive with art, technology, nutrition, conservation projects, field trips, dance, and more with each experience designed and led by caring mentors and volunteers.

Mentor-tutors work closely with students, learning their individual needs and helping them discover how they learn best. The result is a summer that not only bridges learning gaps, but builds confidence, friendships, and lasting memories.

Your bid directly sponsors a child’s summer at CPY. It is more than a program, it is a place where kids thrive.

What are students are saying:

“What I have learned in CPY is how to be honest. Being honest is talked about in standard number four. At CPY, we should speak up if we see something wrong. I am learning to always speak the truth”.
- Eloisa, Age: 10, Grade: 4

“In CPY I have learned how to make connections with others. When I first started at CPY I was really shy and wouldn’t really talk a lot. Slowly I started talking to leaders and getting to know them. I have made a lot of special bonds with leaders who are now my closest friends. I am so grateful that CPY gave me the chance to experience meeting new people”.
- Crystal, High School Leadership
