Welcome to CPM's 18th Annual Gala Fundraiser!

Please enjoy browsing through our exciting collection of silent auction items and be sure to place a bid - or two...or three!  All items were donated by our generous sponsors and all proceeds will directly support The Children's Playhouse of Maryland.

CPM Gala - Silent Auction Rules 

1. By bidding in CPM’s silent auctions, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
2. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” CPM has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made on the bid sheets, or made orally at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
3. The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify amount of deduction.
4. Payment for items purchased must be made in full within 24 hours of auction closing. Winners will be emailed an invoice payable online with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Amex or PayPal. 
5. Following payment, winners will be contacted by the CPM Office to arrange pick up. No items will be shipped except by special arrangement with CPM and at the expense of the buyer. You must show your paid receipt at pick up.
6. The purchaser must complete payment within 24 hours of auction closing, unless special arrangements are made. Any item left unpaid after 24 hours, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to CPM.
7. CPM reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
8. Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the auction date.
9. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from CPM, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auctioneer(s), the auction company and its agents and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.


About The Children's Playhouse of MD

In residence at CCBC Essex. CPM is an award winning children's theatre providing workshops, summer camps and performance opportunities for youth 18 and under. Children's Playhouse produces four musicals, and one non musical each season.
