About Our Auction

Since 1953, The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties has helped people with intellectual disabilities thrive.

In the spirit of togetherness, this silent auction features items donated by community supporters. These folks feel a pull toward the mission, and are committed to supporting individuals and families.

Your support helps people like Bryan, who loves roller coasters. And folks like Kathy, who needed employment support when she lost her job during the pandemic.

About The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties

The mission of The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is to empower, inspire, and educate people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the community.

Individuals and families need help, and that's what CPARC is here to do! Just 60 years ago, individuals with disabilities were living in institutions and not getting the care that they needed. Concerned parents in 1953 founded CPARC as an alternative to the options at the time.

Now, over 100 residents live in CPARC's Residential Services, which include apartments and group homes in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties. Over 80 participate actively in volunteering in the community and over 200 explore career options.

More than 40% of our residents are over the age of 60. As folks age, staff are there to help meet their health/safety needs and preserve their dignity.
