About Our Auction

The playground committee and Cherokee Heights Middle School would like to thank you for participating in our auction last year. We successfully raised $8,500! That money, combined with other money we raised through direct donations, grants, dining out, a household/clothing drive, and penny wars, allowed us to build Phase 1 of the playground in the summer of 2018.

Our kids have been busy using the new playground during recess, phy-ed class, and school-wide events. They have been swinging, climbing, balancing, and playing tetherball! There is a wild rush of kids running outside to begin each recess. The first kids to get outside for recess are the first to get a swing. The kids have let us know that they would love to see more equipment and especially more swings.

We are continuing to fund-raise this year to add additional equipment to the playground as Phase 2. The equipment will include the items that we were not able to add last summer as well as more swings. Our goal is to raise an additional $20,000.

Please take a look and bid on as many items as you want. You can also donate using the green button on the upper right if there is nothing you want to bid on. You can choose the "Buy Now" option if you want to be sure to get a particular item. You can also choose the "Proxy Bid" if you want the system to bid for you up to a certain dollar amount. Have fun and bid often!

About Midvale-Lincoln PTO/ Playground

The Midvale-Lincoln PTO includes families, teachers, and school staff from the paired Midvale and Lincoln Elementary Schools in Madison, WI. The PTO raises money through a variety of fundraisers in order to support teacher projects and student experiences.

In 2016, after a multi-year fundraising effort and considerable PTO support, the playground at Midvale Elementary was replaced and has become an exciting outdoor space for the school and surrounding neighborhoods. The time has come for Lincoln Elementary to have a safe, inclusive, and inspiring playground as well. Thank you for supporting the PTO, the students, and the playground renovation project!
