About Our Auction

This fundraising event supports grant giving to educational personnel at Cooperative Educational Services (CES) in Trumbull, Conn., and supports professional development for teachers throughout southern Fairfield County. In May 2020, the CES Foundation reached 13 years of service to C.E.S. Over the past 13 years the Foundation has awarded close to $227,000 in grants: $97,000 in mini-grants, many of which have been embedded into the operating budget after successful implementation and special start-up projects for CES schools and programs and professional development for educators in CES member districts (southern Fairfield County) for an additional $130,000. The Foundation provides these grants to educational personnel to promote creativity, active classroom research and applied learning.


About Cooperative Educational Services Foundation

The CES Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was created in 2007 to enhance educational opportunities for students at Cooperative Educational Services (CES) schools and programs. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance learning opportunities for students in CES schools and programs. The Foundation awards mini-grants to CES educators for creative and innovative proposals that provide their students unique and expanded programs. The Foundation also funds targeted educational projects for CES programs that have the potential for future success. Programs supported by the Foundation include: Six to Six Magnet School, Regional Center for the Arts, School Readiness preschool program, and Special Education.
