18th Annual Holiday Celebrity Waiter Dinner

The Clark County Youth Shelter & Family Services, Inc. will host a live Zoom event on Tuesday, December 7th at 6pm This year our event will be 100% online and will feature stories about our clients, tours of our facility and conversation with staff! The Silent Auction featured here will kick off December 1 at 12pm and close on December 7 at 8pm. At the close of the auction we will conduct a drawing for the $100 VISA Gift Card and post the video on social media!

This event is our largest fundraiser that supports not only our Residential Program, which shelters over 150 youth a year, but also important programs such as Family Education and Support, which provides families who are at-risk for abuse the necessary skills to become better parents, and Safe Place, a crisis-intervention program that offers youth assistance in their times of need.

Clark County Youth Shelter & Family Services is dedicated to supporting and promoting the emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of youth and families in Southern Indiana. Since opening in 1986, we have striven to meet the needs of youth in the community through emergency shelter care for youth aged 10 to 19 who are victims of abuse and neglect, are runaways or homeless, and/or are experiencing severe family conflicts. In ongoing evaluation of client needs and agency services we examined the need for a more family focused approach and expanded and implemented programs designed to support and strengthen the entire family. The agency continues to offer emergency care services, but now also offers the following additional services: crisis intervention (Safe Place program); aftercare; information and referral; independent living skill development, and parent education (Family Education and Support program). Through these programs we seek to meet our goals and objectives and strive to achieve our mission, "Serving youth and families in a safe and caring environment."
