Barb's BDay Fun-draiser for CCRx

To celebrate her 60th birthday, CCRx Founder Barbara Koenen has invited some of her most talented friends help raise between $60 - $60,000 for the Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx). The funds will help CCRx 'pivot' to an online web market to better serve Chicago teachers and nonprofits. Check out the items below -- they are events, experiences, objects -- whimsical, historical, definitely one-of-a-kind, and in no case a "failure of imagination"!

The Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx) fosters creativity and environmental stewardship by reimagining and redistributing surplus. We support and inspire Chicago teachers, nonprofits, artists and community groups by connecting them with surplus materials, supplies and equipment donated by businesses and individuals. We encourage creativity and problem-solving in the process. Our belief is that “trash is just a failure of imagination” and our goal is for creative reuse to become an integral part of Chicago's infrastructure.
