About Our Auction

CARE welcomed a new resident last month and with so much going on lately, we just have not had time to name her yet!

So, in order to help raise a little extra funds to help cover the cost of not just providing a new home to her, but also Zara who arrived just a few months before her, we are offering the chance to name this little one and receive a one year honorary adoption of her! We have a lot of formula and veterinary care for these two youngsters, so the naming rights will go to the highest bidder!

This is also an amazing gift to give someone important in your life or to honor the memory of a loved one. Just scroll to her picture below and place your bid. Bidding ends on November 24th!

About Center for Animal Research and Education

The Center for Animal Research and Education is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education, research, rescue, and long-term care for exotic animals. Located on 20 acres in Bridgeport, TX. CARE currently provides a permanent home to over 50 animals including snow leopards, mountain lions, African lions, tigers, black and spotted leopards, ring-tail lemurs and a coati.

The animals of CARE come from a wide variety of places. Some of the animals were abused, abandoned, or bred to be the pets of private collectors before they came to the facility. Others were retired from performance acts, acquired from zoos which encountered financial difficulty, or taken in from other sanctuaries that reached their capacity. Regardless of an animal’s origins, they are all given tremendous love and world class husbandry when they find a home at CARE.
