Money raised from our auction run in conjunction with our 13th Annual Commissionaires/ Broadmead Care Charity Golf Tournament happening on May 6, 2016 at Uplands Golf Club. Proceeds will go towards renovating veterans’ and seniors’ rooms at the Veterans Memorial Lodge at Broadmead. The Lodge is 20 years old and the existing night tables, cabinets and draperies have reached the end of their useful lives. The laminate on the cabinets and night tables is peeling off, which gives the rooms a shabby appearance and makes cleaning very difficult. The draperies have been washed so often that they are faded and worn. Each room renovation costs $1,500. This price includes a new cupboard, night table and fire retardant draperies per room including installation.
