Blake Memorial Library Silent Auction Fundraiser

Help us provide our community with the tools to learn, share ideas, think critically and creatively, and inspire each other!

This auction showcases a FUN and EXCITING selection of offerings from our generous and talented community members. You're sure to find something you can't be without!

While we receive limited support from the towns we serve and from grants, we rely on additional donations and fundraising to operate and thrive.

Funds from the auction will be used to:

• Grow our book collection
• Provide free, mind-enriching programs for all ages
• Provide a meeting space for learning languages, making music and art, discussing what matters most, and more
• Keep our beautiful building warm in winter and cool in summer
• Pay our wonderful and dedicated staff members

The Blake Memorial Library started with a wheelbarrow full of books. In the early 1890’s three young men decided the area needed a library. They found a room to use and pushed a wheelbarrow through town asking for contributions of books. Others joined them, and the group formed a library association.

Today, Blake Memorial Library remains a community effort! We are fortunate to have two wonderful part time, paid staff members, but everyone else who keeps the operation running is a volunteer. We rely on the spirit of giving and collaboration that our community embodies. We truly can’t do this without you!
