About Our Auction

This is our annual fundraiser to support the programs we run to benefit youth in Calvert County, Maryland. Currently, we operate several programs. Operation Backpack provides economically disadvantaged children with a backpack filled with new school supplies and a new, age-appropriate book. Last year we provided 273 local students with the new start to the school year that they needed. In an effort to provide at-risk children with opportunities for physical activity, we provide Youth Sports Scholarships for a variety of activities, including football, soccer, basketball, and baseball for elementary school students. The purpose of our Great Book Giveaway Program is twofold: to give books to children who otherwise might not have books (or many books) of their own and to educate parents on the importance of reading aloud to their young children. Our Christmas Cheer Program provides filled Christmas Stockings to youth identified by local partner programs (churches, schools, civic groups, etc.). Our newest program, a Memorial Scholarship Program, will grant a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior pursuing a degree in Education and a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior pursuing an automotive technology diploma.

Please only bid on items for which you are prepared to be the winning bidder.
