Brooklin United Church 2023 Spring Auction

The goal of our 2023 Spring Auction is to have some fun supporting BUC and our spring outreach project, helping an Ontario community have access to clean water!

The proceeds from our auction will be used to support the ongoing work of Brooklin United in our community and beyond, with fifty percent of the funds raised will be donated to our spring outreach project. We have taken up the challenge to help contribute to the cost of a water tanker truck needed by Kingfisher Lake First Nation. The truck moves water from the filtration plant to tanks outside of homes and businesses in this village of 500, which is located south of Hudson’s Bay and 13 hours north of Thunder Bay and is accessible only by air, water, or ice road. The $150,000 truck is the size of a firetruck! We want to be part of helping people have access to clean water and we hope that you do too!

This year Brooklin United is marking our 183rd year as a congregation in the village of Brooklin. In addition to Sunday worship services, we offer a variety of programs and activities to help meet the spiritual needs of the residents of Brooklin. Some of our other activities include our annual Christmas Hamper program where we work with community partners and the elementary schools to provide food and gifts for over 60 families. We also have an annual food drive and community lunches. Brooklin United also supports global charities through The United Church of Canada’s Mission & Service Fund. We warmly welcome all to worship with us!
