2018 Bill Koch Festival

Auction to support the 2018 Bill Koch Festival - The New England Bill Koch Youth Ski League (NEBKYSL) Festival is the marquee event of the New England Nordic Ski Association’s Bill Koch Youth Ski League. This league has the mission to introduce young people to the sport of cross country skiing with its social, fitness and competitive opportunities. Local BKL Clubs provide programming for boys and girls in eighth grade and younger, often relying on and including parental participation.

Once a year, individuals and Clubs from all over New England and New York come together at the annual Festival for a weekend of activities centering upon cross country skiing.

EMBK introduces young skiers to the joys of cross-country (XC) skiing through our program of coaching with a low skier-coach ratio and instruction methods developed for young skiers. The club has both racing and non-racing components. Cross-country skiing is a low-impact sport and is great cross-training for runners, soccer players, and other young athletes! No prior XC skiing experience is necessary.
