Brooklyn Center Business Assoc. / CEAP Auction

As many know, our board made the tough decision to cancel the 15th Annual Brooklyn Center Business Association Golf Tournament given concerns about the pandemic. Not only is the golf outing a fun tradition, it is also our primary fundraiser, with a portion of proceeds shared with a fellow area non-profit organization. We're happy to let you know that the silent auction portion of our event will continue this year online.

For 2020, we plan to share a portion of auction proceeds with Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP). Due to Covid-19 and high unemployment, many of the local food shelves and organizations that do similar work are particularly challenged by high demand. CEAP mobilizes resources, shares abundance and nourishes neighbors to create and celebrate a healthier, stronger and connected community. In normal times, this is a big task; during a pandemic, it becomes even more critical.
