The Austin Angelfish Synchronized Swimming team is funded by a combination of monthly dues (paid by the athlete’s family) and fundraising via events throughout the year. This combination of internal and external funding is intentional as we have a commitment to keep the sport accessible and affordable. This allows us to turn no athlete away if they are willing to work hard and contribute to our team goals.

The Austin Angelfish, our city’s only organized competitive synchronized swimming team is a 501c3 non-profit organization helmed by volunteer coaches who provide girls 8-18 a safe and competitive space to develop as athletes, individuals, and community members. Our athletes come from nine Austin area zip codes and collectively speak eight languages!
Synchronized swimming (artistic swimming) is a sport that requires grace, endurance, flexibility, strength, coordination, artistry and musical timing.
