About Our Auction
This is Friends of the Cameron second online auction! Since the Covid-19 pandemic started, our resources have been severely limited - but the needs for funds are ever-increasing.
Our 2nd auction showcases heating oil, Howard Miller chime clock, gift baskets, paintings, a variety of handcrafted items, (plus a few additional collectibles to round-out our sale).
Our goal is to raise funds for remote and/or contact-free programs for seniors in the community. We plan to host more auctions, in the future, with different themes.
In a typical year, the Friends support to the Cameron would include:
*Covering costs of fitness and exercise classes, so Westford seniors can attend free-of-charge.
*Sponsoring social activities and organizing fundraising events.
*Managing the Cameron thrift shop, Trudy’s Boutique, open to the public, year round.
*Assisting qualified seniors with emergency financial assistance for food, housing, utilities, medical services or transportation.
About Friends of the Cameron
The Friends of Cameron Senior Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Since 1983, we have provided financial support to our town's senior center enabling it to offer special programs, activities and support services that it otherwise wouldn’t be able to do. Our support and activities promote fellowship and help to improve the health and well-being of older citizens throughout the local community.
