Asbury Church UMW 2021 Auction

The United Methodist Women of Asbury Church present this auction as part of their annual bazaar. Proceeds from the auction will provide funds through various outlets for those in need of food, shelter, clothing, educational assistance, medical supplies and care, and disaster relief. This support is given locally, nationally and world-wide.

In this current pandemic, missions need for funding is going to be more critical. Your support of our efforts to help others in need is greatly appreciated.

TIPS ABOUT HOW THE AUCTION WORKS:

Anyone can view the auction; no account is needed.

To bid on something, create an account with only your name and email address.

When navigating the site, you can go to the top control bar and click on the Item List icon (to the right of the star) to go to the display of items. Or, you can click on the words “All Items”, or it may indicate an item category, like “Books”. That will bring you to a drop down choice of item categories if you are looking for something in particular.

To see an enlargement of a picture of an item, click on the larger image on the item page. You can then scroll with the arrow on the right or left of the photo to see the other pictures enlarged.

You can enter an exact bid or a proxy bid. A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item. See "Bidding" on the HELP page for more info.

Note that if bidding on an item occurs within the last 3 minutes of the auction, bidding on that item will be extended, up to a maximum of 30 minutes.

Bidders will receive email notifications to confirm their bid or if they are outbid, and when they win the bid at the end of the auction.

Winning bidders will be invoiced at the end of the auction and can pay with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account. Even if paying with a credit card, your payment will be received through PayPal.

Credit card information is not shared with the auction site or with Asbury UMW.

Winning bidders will pick up their items CURBSIDE at Asbury United Methodist Church, Saturday, November 13, 10 AM - 1 PM, or at an alternative time if arranged with the auction administrator. See Pick Up information on the item page. MASK REQUIRED.
