This Holiday Season, ArtsCan Circle is honoured to host an online fundraiser to help raise funds for creative art workshops for Indigenous and Inuit Youth in remote northern communities.

Visual artist, illustrator and art educator David Moore, born in South America, returned to Sarnia when he was 9 years old. His paintings, prints and drawings reflect the vibrant colours of Peruvian weaving, painted ceramics, and line work in engraved silver that were part of his early life. For over 18 years, ArtsCan Circle has been visiting Indigenous and Inuit northern communities across Canada, sending artists to facilitate creative art workshops with the children and youth. Our hope is to encourage self-expression and self-esteem in the youth through a cooperative exploration of the arts.

Because of the pandemic, ArtsCan Circle created #ArtsCanConnects, a platform offering free online workshops to Northern Youth and led by some of North America's most exciting artists.
