Art on Cake Featuring Ann Marie Coolick

Ann Marie Coolick is an artist from Arlington, VA whose textural, colorful paintings exude joyfulness and are often referred to as frosting-like and luscious. She has exhibited across the mid-Atlantic region since moving to Arlington in 2004 for a residency at the Arlington Arts Center. Ann Marie has had solo exhibits at the Arlington Arts Center, the Center for the Arts in Manassas, the Hylton Center, and the Glen Allen Arts Center.

Winner will select the cake flavor of their choosing, to be submitted no later than 3 days from receiving menu. Cake will serve at least 22-24 servings. The design will be completely original and inspired by her paintings featured here.

We are a small but mighty bakery in the heart of DC. As part of our desire to give back to the community we are doing a series called "Art on Cake". We will collaborate with local artists to create unique, one of a kind, cakes with the design being driven by each artist. One of a kind edible pieces of art ~ You choose the flavor, the artist and our cake team will take care of the rest. We have decided to donate the proceeds from these auctions to Project Create DC. Project Create provides accessible arts education to promote positive development in children, youth and families experiencing homelessness and poverty.
