The Arlington Chorale Spring 2021 Auction

The Arlington Chorale has created a rich cultural experience for the community by performing masterpieces and compelling new choral works throughout its fifty-year history. Our group has continued to rehearse and perform virtually during the pandemic, and we are excited to present our virtual spring concert on Saturday, May 1st at 7:30 PM! The Chorale is once again supporting and partnering with a wide range of local businesses in the Arlington area. We draw our strength from the community, and we are thrilled to offer so many different experiences and items from these local organizations. In this auction, you will find gift cards to 10+ Arlington businesses, as well as various hand-made items, store-bought items, virtual lessons, and unique event tickets.

The Chorale is especially grateful to a number of local organizations for sponsoring this auction. Choral singing builds community, providing a space for members to work toward a common artistic goal as they laugh, learn, and sing together. The Arlington Chorale continues to provide this community for its members virtually and has been an integral part of the arts scene in the Washington, D.C. metro area for over fifty years.

The Chorale is a mixed-voice chorus composed of members from Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. Members are a mix of young professionals, older professionals, retirees, and everyone in between! They perform varied repertoire of smaller pieces and larger works for chorus and orchestra. Each season, the Chorale is honored to be part of the onstage chorus for the Messiah Sing-a-long at the Kennedy Center. They also participate in a number of other special events, such as singing the national anthem at the MLB All-Star Game at Nationals Park, singing masterworks with the NIH Philharmonia including Brahms’ Requiem and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, and community events like the 40th anniversary of Arlington Thrive and caroling for the Lee Highway Alliance Winter Festival of Lights.
