 In her infinite compassion, Amma shared her insights on the sacred nature of art—how it flows from the divine and becomes a channel through which grace expresses itself. These works are not merely images—they are infused with divine energy, created to uplift, awaken, and inspire.

Who is Amma

Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi—known simply as Amma, the “Mother of Embracing Love.”
 A living embodiment of compassion and selfless service.
 Recognized worldwide for her humanitarian work, spiritual teachings, and countless embraces that have comforted millions.
 Amma’s life is dedicated to relieving suffering and inspiring love in action through her mission, Embracing the World.
She shares her pure love and compassion tangibly  through her embrace, her blessings, her teachings and her huge network of charitable activities, collectively called Embracing the World.

A collective of talented souls from around the world.
 Each one offering their gifts in devotion to Amma and her vast charitable mission.
 Every work is created with intention, offered in the spirit of seva (selfless service), and personally blessed by Amma during the Amritapuri art exhibits.

This auction is a spiritual offering: a way to awaken devotion, nourish the connection to the Divine in our hearts, and support a global movement rooted in dharma and love in action.

Embracing the World (ETW) is a global network of regional humanitarian organizations, inspired by the India-based humanitarian initiatives of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Embracing the World exists to alleviate the burden of the world’s poor through helping to meet each of their five basic needs — food, shelter, healthcare, education, and livelihood — wherever and whenever possible. We are especially focused on helping to meet these needs in the aftermath of major disasters.

Augmenting these efforts, we work in the fields of environmental conservation and sustainability, to protect the future of our fragile planet. Through Amrita University (www.amrita.edu), our researchers are innovating new means of delivery of goods, knowledge, information, energy and healthcare.
