Description:
The Artistic Rescue Tales (ART) Auction is a heartwarming and creative online auction event that showcases the talents of rescue animals, inviting them to unleash their inner Picasso and share their unique stories through art.  Every painting and art piece captures the journey, love, and triumph of these incredible animals.

Who It Supports:
This auction is an exciting collaboration between six dedicated animal rescue organizations: Meow Foundation, Saving Grace Animal Society, Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation, Canadian Animal Task Force  (CATF), Rescue Friends Animal Foundation, and Bear Valley Rescue.Hosted by Rescue Friends, the Artistic Rescue Tales (ART) Online Auction Site will showcase gorgeous masterpieces CREATED by animals (in collaboration with their human helpers) from each rescue group will be auctioned off! The groups will chose their animals to tell their tale through art. Safety in the artistic process will be ensured by each group as the animals engage with various mediums, surfaces and mark making tools.

Cats, dogs, horses, and even some mystery animal guests will showcase their artistic talents to tell their unique rescue tales through art. Calgary artist Dean StantonThe Rescue Friends team concocted this zany idea with fun-loving renowned Calgary artist and superhero animal rescue supporter. Dean has been an advocate for animal rescue since the Stone Age. His incredible generosity to this auction includes donating one of a kind iconic art pieces to each rescue group to auction off alongside their animal artiste masterpieces! Dean is also auctioning off an interactive art project to help Rescue Friends offset the cost of hosting this auction. What the heck is that you ask? Wait and see! We love you Dean! Proceeds from the auction will directly support these organizations.  Each listing will clearly indicate which rescue the funds will benefit.  This ensures transparency and provides a way for supporters to contribute to the initiatives closest to their hearts.

How Funds Are Used:
Each group will determine how the funds will be used.  Examples might include:-Providing medical care, food, and shelter for rescued animals.
-Supporting spay and neuter programs to address pet overpopulation.
-Facilitating adoption efforts to find loving forever homes for animals in need.
-Enhancing community outreach and education programs about animal welfare.

Saving Animals & Finding Homes

Rescue Friends Animal Foundation is a Calgary and surrounding area animal aid team formed by a group of experienced non-profit volunteers, directors, foster homes, adopters, and animal rescuers. Our board of directors has over 45 years of combined knowledge working in animal welfare including extensive experience of non-profit board of directors, local and international spay and neuter initiatives, disaster relief, rescue, humane education, vaccination, and other welfare programs.

Our vision is to create a world where animals can live the best life possible. To accomplish our vision, our team has assembled to connect animals and people through rescue, education, and support initiatives. Our team will assess situations requiring animal aid and determine the best course of action on an individual basis. We are also dedicated to providing valuable outreach and educational services to the community through trained professional educators. We strive to work collaboratively with other organizations in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the animals in need.
