About Our Auction

The 2020 Afternoon of Jazz is a wonderful opportunity to support the Reston-Dulles Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and the programs and partnerships it is involved with in the Northern Virginia Area. Our Section partners with organizations that provide mentoring to young girls, provide food for needy children in the area, and a host of other worthy causes.

This auction is a wonderful opportunity to help support those in need!

Originally scheduled for April 5, 2020 our Afternoon of Jazz has been rescheduled for October 11, 2020. That doesn't mean you have to miss out on these great auction items!

About Reston-Dulles Section, NCNW

The mission of the National Council of Negro Women is to advance opportunities and the quality of life for African American women, their families, and communities. NCNW fulfills this mission through research, advocacy, national and community based services and programs in the U.S. and the African countries.

Our Section provides support to young people from area schools, donates Thanksgiving baskets to families in need, and supports Embry Rucker shelter and other community programs in the Reston and Dulles areas of Northern Virginia.

Members also devote time, talent, and funds to voter registration, youth tutoring, education and empowerment programs, breast cancer research, and National NCNW initiatives. The Reston-Dulles Section will continue to address the challenges faced by African American women, their families, and communities.
