About Our Auction

It’s All About ARTISTS!

Presented by George Ripoll, BMO Private Wealth

Art and artists have always been at the core of our mandate. We know the arts have been hit hard by the pandemic. Artists are essential to healthy communities, and that’s why, this year, we’re directing all the proceeds from the sale of artwork directly to the artists*!

Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting out, It’s All About ARTISTS! is a unique opportunity to support artists and our vibrant creative community through the purchase of an original work of contemporary art!

Other ways to support the AGP:

This year, our ability to earn revenue has been limited by the pandemic. Your contributions ensure that we can continue our great work of connecting audiences with art, inspiring the next generation of artists, and contributing to our vibrant and creative community.

About Art Gallery of Peterborough

The Art Gallery of Peterborough is a non-profit public gallery dedicated to exhibiting and collecting visual works of art.

Our goal is to present contemporary visual art by artists from the region and across the nation. Some historical and international works are also shown. Exhibitions are supported with programs including lectures, workshops, and publications. We make curatorial choices in selecting the work for each particular exhibition, whether it is featured in the main gallery or in the smaller exhibition areas.
