28th BEAUJOLAIS FESTIVAL SILENT AUCTION

The Alliance Française de Charlotte has been organizing the Charlotte Beaujolais Festival since 1993. The proceeds from the Charlotte Beaujolais Festival and this On-Line Auction will directly benefit French Education and French Cultural events in the Charlotte area, such as very affordable French classes, French library, grants for high school or college students’ projects in French, and support for Francophone communities.

This year the proceeds from the event will allow us to focus on helping Middle and High school students by providing scholarships as prizes for the French Spelling Bee, gift certificates for the Reading Aloud in French program, as well as Grants for French projects.

Alliance Française of Charlotte, founded in 1949, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to increase appreciation for the French language and Francophone cultures worldwide and, in so doing, reinforce the Franco-American friendship.

To fulfill this mission, AFC organizes monthly cultural events in the community, offers French classes and themed workshops, and funds two grants annually. AFC is also committed to providing a place where recent arrivals from Francophone nations can make significant connections with other French speakers in Charlotte.
