Authors Dinner 2016: Silent Auction

This year we've opened our popular Authors Dinner auction in advance of the event to include everyone who wants to support our fundraiser for the exciting capital improvements at the flagship Central Library. Use this website to view items or bid online prior to the event on February 6. Don't miss out on the one-of-kind literary treasures, unique vacation getaways, and AfterWORDS events with leading local authors, artists and thinkers. You can even choose "Buy It Now" to snag an item you really want. All items, except for the vacation getaways, can be bid on and/or purchased online before the Dinner on February 6. The online auction goes live on February 6. The highest bids are carried forward. If you cannot attend the live event, you have the option of entering a Proxy Bid. Call us if you need help navigating this new way (for us) to have some auction fun while raising money for a great cause!

The online auction closes on February 5, 2016 at 8:00pm and goes live at the Authors Dinner on February 6, 2016. Unless the item you bid on has been purchased at the buy-it-now price, bidding will continue until the auction ends at 8pm. The highest bids online will carry forward to the live auction. Proxy bids will also be honored. All winning bids will be notified by email. Some items, such as the vacation getaways, are only available to ticket holders at the Authors Dinner reception.
