Every bid you place helps us continue our mission to rescue and care for dogs in need. We’re a 100% volunteer-run charity, and all funds raised go straight to the care of the doggos in the rescue — because every dog deserves the chance to live their best, tail-wagging life!

Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue (DFL) is an NFP registered charity, dedicated to saving dogs.

We are committed to saving as many dogs as possible from pounds and other unpleasant situations. DFL run totally by volunteers and funded through charitable donations and fundraising activities, such as this!

We rescue hundreds of dogs a year and all dogs are placed in foster homes in the metro area until they are adopted. During this time, they receive the vetwork, training and love they require in order to ensure they can be their best dog and live their best lives ️

We also rescue dogs that don’t have much time left. Rather than leave them to die in a pound alone, they will live with a “forever foster” carer & remain in the rescue until it is their time. They will only know love & kindness and will receive all vet work needed to make them as comfortable as possible.
