"Mountain Majesty" - A Tribute to Grizzly 399
TAX DEDUCTIBILITY NOTE:
This painting was originally listed as priceless (which defaults to $0.00), Fair Market value is $399. Bid amounts exceeding $399 qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions. 100% of the proceeds will still be donated to the monument project.

This beautiful original watercolor portrait of 399 was created by 399 Monument Team member, Sonia Reid, of Jackson, WY. She painted this from her own reference photos, having documented 399 and her cubs for years.
Sonia's thoughtful design:
1. A background map of the park, where 399 roamed with her cubs 2. The Teton Range behind her in purple 3. A subtle green crown for The Queen. 4. 399 signed in purple next to Sonia's signature. 5. Four long drips of color, one for each of the quads, leading to the south end of the park and her memorial marker.
Original size 8x10 to be framed in a simple 11x14 black frame/white mat.
We will have it on display for our monument tour to Edison House (9/4), Flying Saddle Resort (9/5), and Jackson Hole Winery (9/6).
We will also have it at the museum on dedication day (9/9).
ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to the 399 Monument Legacy of Love Monument Project.

Her life brought greater awareness to the challenges facing grizzly bears and the urgent need to protect their habitats. She reminded us that one life can make an extraordinary difference—and that the love we feel for the wild can inspire us to become its greatest protectors.
Her legacy does not end with her passing. It lives on in every person she inspired, every heart she touched, and every effort made to protect the wild places she called home.
