About 317 Main Community Music Center
317 Main encourages creative expression, personal growth, and community connection through music.
317 Main brings the power of music to people of all ages and abilities from across southern and mid-coast Maine. 317 Main was founded in 2004 on the idea that music can engage, vitalize, and strengthen human connections in our communities. At our studios and at partner locations in southern Maine, we provide music education for more than 500 people per week through one-on-one music lessons, group classes, jam sessions, ensembles, workshops, and summer camps. Our Partnership Program works with nonprofits and schools to expand access to music education.
Proceeds from this auction enable us to continue to support and invest in the professional musicians who teach at 317 Main, extend financial assistance to everyone who needs it, and partner with the organizations in our community who are providing critical support services and enrichment opportunities to local children and families. Together, we can ensure that music is for everyone.
