Give These Books a Second Chance

Dogs, Boys, and Other Things I've Cried About by Isabel Klee is a #1 New York Times best selling memoir, and we are auctioning off 7 SIGNED AND PAWPRINT STAMPED copies. These are books that got a little banged up in transit from the publisher's warehouse -- a little dented on the edge, a little tear on the jacket. But some of us know that a book, like a dog, doesn't need to be pristine and perfect for it to find a loving place in our homes. In honor of best boy Simon, we are auctioning off these signed books to benefit a local rescue organization here in Astoria.
All proceeds will be donated to Second Chance Rescue

 The Astoria Bookshop is a queer woman-owned, general interest bookstore in the heart of Western Queens. The store opened for business on August 21st, 2013, and moved to 36-19 30th Street in May 2023. Our mission is to serve our diverse, vibrant community with the books we stock and the events we host.
