2026 Fall Festival Auction

We need funding to create, stock, and run a brand-new STEAM Lab because it will enhance science and math learning through curriculum-aligned, hands-on experiences using the 5E model. The lab will “take the ceiling away” by giving students an expanded learning environment to explore, practice, and apply concepts—turning lessons into real skills. Funding will be used to create and replenish resources, build lab-ready learning stations and materials, and provide training so both students and teachers develop the knowledge and confidence to take ownership and run the lab sustainably.


How the money will be used (what it pays for)

• Curriculum enhancement + materials for science and math connections.
• Implementing a 5E learning model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) through structured activities and lesson kits.
• A lab system that moves learning into practice, with stations, tools, and setup designed for hands-on work.
• “Explore and tie to the curriculum” via topic-specific units, consumables, and project templates.
• Lab expansion of the learning environment—space planning, organization, storage, and display so it functions smoothly every day.
• Creating and stocking resources, including lab supplies, prototypes/materials, safety equipment, and ongoing replenishment.
• Training students and teachers for ownership, covering safe tool use, routines, maintenance practices, and how to run sessions independently.

The Navy PTO supports the parents and teachers of Navy Elementary school.
