About Our Auction
Preserving a historical piece of a community relies on time, effort, youth, and financial investment. The St Thomas Curling Club was built in its current site in 1956 at cost of around $100,000 and is now in the process of taking a turn to modernize its facility and provide a warm, welcoming, and positive environment that can be enjoyed for decades to come.
As a Club we have invested a lot of time in ensuring we have a warm and welcoming atmosphere that brings in new members of all ages to enjoy this great sport. Encouraging the youth to partake and join the Club ensures the longevity of the sport in this great City and is part of our mission to continue through this auction.
Our members have been actively fundraising so we could complete the current phase of renovation we are undergoing which can be viewed through its progression on our social media pages. This is the first part of our vision for the future, but we need you to help us keep pushing forward.
Your bids on these spectacular items donated for our mission will directly fund our Junior Curling and Building Funds. Two causes that directly relate to the long term success of this facility and sport maintaining its position as a community staple.
