2026 Wegan Ladies Aid Silent Auction

The St. Paul Wegan Ladies Aid continues to use the money raised through their auctions to support both our church and our community. Their generosity and hard work make a difference in so many ways. They visit members who are homebound, make lap quilts for nursing home residents, purchase flowers and other supplies for the church, and help provide many of the things needed to keep our church going.

We are truly grateful for all they do and for their continued dedication to St. Paul and the surrounding community.

St Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan, is the second oldest Lutheran congregation in Jackson County, Indiana, being founded on March 7, 1856.  On July 23, 1871, St Paul became a member of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod with which it is affiliated to this day.  Our present church building was dedicated on September 11, 1898.  By the grace of God our congregation is authentically Lutheran, subscribing to the Book on Concord of 1580 without reservation.

The Ladies Aide raises money annually to support the church and the community.  The ladies purchase fabric and gather together to handcraft lap blankets and then disperse them to the area nursing homes for the residents to use.  They also support Hearts4Haiti, The Orphan Grain Train, Lutheran Central School,TLHS, Lutheran Seminary, Crosslife Ministries.
