Empty Place at the Table

Each year, Jana’s Campaign hosts our annual fundraising gala, Empty Place at the Table. This year, we’re going totally ’80s! Get ready for a night of big hair, bold looks, dinner, drinks, dancing, and incredible auctions. 

On Saturday, October 10, at Midnight Ranch in Hays, Kansas, Jana’s Campaign presents Empty Place at the Table: ’80s Prom, an evening honoring the memory and legacy of Jana Mackey while celebrating 17 years of making prevention possible.
Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and auction bid helps fund Jana’s Campaign’s prevention education programs. Your support allows our team of Prevention Educators to provide prevention education to students, train educators and professionals, develop resources, and work with schools, colleges, and communities to build the knowledge and skills needed to prevent relationship-based violence.

For 17 years, we’ve been turning Jana’s legacy into action—empowering young people to recognize unhealthy behaviors, understand consent and boundaries, build healthy relationships, and create lasting social change.

Jana’s Campaign is a national education and violence prevention organization with the single mission of reducing relationship-based violence. In honor of the late Jana Mackey and other victims and survivors of gender and relationship violence, Jana’s Campaign delivers educational programs that prevent domestic and dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking.
