FASD stands for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder — a lifelong disability that can affect the brain and body of individuals exposed to alcohol before birth. Each person with FASD has their own unique strengths and challenges, and may require tailored supports to thrive in many aspects of daily life.

At the Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society, we’re here to walk alongside children, youth, adults, and families living with FASD. We offer adult, caregiver and pregnancy support, with a mission to build capacity for the prevention of FASD and to provide meaningful care and resources to all rural communities surrounding Calgary.
