2026 Rocket Romp Read-a-thon Auction

Eaton Elementary host a Read-a-thon and Carnival (with silent auction) annually as our only fundraiser for the school year. The auction will open on October 12th and close on October 16th at 7:30pm. October 16th we will be our school-wide Read-A-Thon day. Students will be reading independently, reading with a friend, or listening to a teacher or community member read to them. We will also have an honorary Rocket Romp walk, in memory of our former teacher, Mary Lee Wampler Hitch around the track. During this virtual action we will have baskets, student experiences, and class artwork. All proceeds from the read-a-thon and the silent auction will go directly back to the students of Eaton Elementary. Our goal this year is $35,000 so we can purchase playground equipment, school beautification, additional classroom materials, and school-wide events.
