Helping Hands Summer 2025 Fundraiser

The Helping Hands of Round Pond Summer 2025 Auction is being run in conjunction with the Meetinghouse fundraiser: Lobster Country with Heather Cox Richardson and Rick Wahle on Monday, July 28th at 7PM at the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta, Maine.  

The auction includes matted prints by acclaimed local photographer Peter Ralston and beloved photographer and lobsterman, Buddy Poland.  All photographs will be available at the fundraising event to be viewed. 

We also have three baseball hats from The Wooden Boat Shop autographed by Heather Cox Richardson!!  Heather is often seen wearing these great hats in promotional material and on social media! 

We are excited to open up this auction on July 28th at 7:00 AM.  The auction will close on Friday, August 1st at 9:00 PM.
 
Proceeds from the event and the auction will be used for the restoration of the Round Pond Meeting House.  We are beginning phase three (of five) of this restoration in Spring 2026 which includes repairing the structural underpinnings of the building.  We have raised approximately 80% of the funds for phase three to date and are grateful for the ongoing community support which brings us closer every day to making this building a space where we can all gather and enjoy. 

Helping Hands of Round Pond is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing support to the local community through outreach, social events, and educational programming. The historic Meetinghouse (affectionately known as the "White Church") is the home of the Helping Hands of Round Pond, and provides an inclusive community gathering space for all.  The Meetinghouse is currently under construction while we restore the building at the heart of Round Pond Village.
